Field Notes from recent visits We're lucky to be in a something of a feminist bookstore renaissance, but not all of them have been around since 1979! Women & Children First is one of the greats, offering a wonderful selection, knowledgeable staff, and more programs than you can ever hope to attend—but don't stop trying. Poetry readings, drag performances, self-defense classes. And, of course, cute stickers.
