About this project...

Hello! I’m Steve McQuown.

I built this as a way to keep track of places I kept noticing—small museums, trails, bookstores, public art—and to help others explore the Great Lakes region more confidently.

Through my work with SMQ Consulting and Optimize.art, I spend a lot of time thinking about how people find the arts. This is a more personal version of that.

If you’ve ever come across something that felt worth sharing, this is a place to leave a note—and help someone else find it.
